Mission
JIN XING (金星) Dance Theater is a contemporary dance company in Shanghai, China. My mission is to rebrand it. To demonstrate the delicacy and suppleness of this dance theater, I emphasize the rhythm, scale, and softness of the fabrics and bodies.
Logo
I use Chinese calligraphy and traditional stamps in order to create the softness and exquisiteness of the fabrics in the dance, and also represent the feature of JIN XING Dance Theater: The extremely lithe limbs of the dancers. Moreover, the form of calligraphy looks like people dancing.
